COVID-19 information

The College’s management is closely monitoring the developments in the coronavirus pandemic (COVID-19)

Last update - March 23rd, 2020 : In accordance with the Government of Quebec announcement, on March 22nd, during the press conference, all schools in Quebec, including all the Marie- Victorin College campuses, will be closed until May 1st, 2020. Given this situation, the courses, training and internships in regular education, continuing education and business services will not take place during this period. Students will not be able to access the usual premises. In the current circumstances, it is important to follow the instructions of our Government and to follow the advice of Public health specialists who are disseminated by reliable sources of information and who allow us to keep an informed view on the situation.
The actions we take will make a difference and will reduce the risks of infection for people whose health is fragile. At the same time, we must also take care of ourselves: the need to isolate ourselves physically should encourage us to turn to electronic tools and social media to communicate with each other and thus maintain social relationships essential for our balance.

The Public Health Agency of Canada recommends that people follow certain rules to limit the spread of the epidemic. In this sense, the College’s management is concerned to comply with the directives of the province's director of public health which are updated on a regular basis.
